Troncones Mexico is a relatively undeveloped, uncrowded beach village located about 20 miles (32 km) northwest of Zihuatanejo on the coast of the state of Guerrero. Troncones is not commercial and is a peaceful, safe and friendly town. Many tourists prefer to vacation here to take advantage of the friendly atmosphere and beautiful, unspoiled scenery of a local small hotel, in order to be away from crowds and get the most out of their vacation. It is a smaller, more tranquil community than its neighbor Puerto Vallarta, to the north, or Acapulco to the south.
There are numerous good restaurants, juice bars, cafes, and shops to explore as well as a variety of activities to enjoy. The quiet, serene beach is great for swimming, boogie boarding, and walking. Tres Mujeres can arrange beach horseback outings, eco tours, or surf lessons or host yoga, spiritual retreats, weddings, and other group events.
Troncones is easy to get to as it is only a 20-minute drive from the Ixtapa airport. The Ixtapa airport code of ZIH is serviced with direct flights from numerous international airports.
