LOVED this place!! The convenient location, our amazing view from the Azul Room balcony, the beautiful landscaping, the comfortable bed, the kind staff, the lovely beach, the chihuahuas, the… read more random (and pretty) bird flying around in our room at night, the outdoor bathroom. Can’t wait to return to Troncones and we’ll stay here again for sure. Muchas gracias, you guys!

Spent 5 nights in this truly lovely hotel. Rooms are large and spotlessly clean with patios, beds are large and comfortable, the grounds are beautiful, beach front, infinity pool,… read more hammocks, and places to sit and eat, read, or relax. The views are beautiful. Nice little restaurants and a few stores within walking distance. One could walk, hike, tour, surf, swim, or ride a horse. Great service and great value. Mil gracias to Onésimo and Lucia and all of the staff for the kindness and attention. Wonderful staff! Already planning a return trip.

Very cozy and beautiful place. The staff is gracious, friendly, and super helpful. Looking forward to staying here again for my next trip. Got some work done in my room… read more and by the pool during the day. Drank coconuts, watched the waves roll in.

i hesitate to write this; tipping off the rest of my vagabond friends who will soon enlist in this sublime escape from the grind. Every detail was attended to… read more by Salatierre, Blanca, Dañiela y Sandrina. We were gifted fresh coconuts daily and the manager even drove me to the hospital in Zijuat when i thought i fractured a rib surfing. The guests were respectable and shared drinks/food with me and the rooms are each nestled with charm. I had a difficult time booking reservations though as no one answered my phone calls or emails so i stayed up the beach for one week and when i found this "little private Idaho" another 3 weeks went by. I upgraded to the Princess room nearest the beach. The yoga platform on the beach, the most dog-friendly place i have yet to discover, the easy-to-move-community kitchen coupled with private parking are all bonafide reasons why i will return!!!!! We just got back home to Alaska with single digit temps. Man, I miss Troncones. Tres Mujeres made everything easy. From the shuttle airport pick-up,… read more to recommendations for activities and restaurants. Onesimo is the man! Super friendly and always helpful with whatever questions you may have. Lisa was also great and made our stay a pleasant one. She arranged surfing, yoga, etc. and always asked how everything was going. She even bailed us out after hours when my wife accidentally locked the door going out to the patio/bathroom area. Thanks Lisa! We stayed in the Azul room which is on the second floor. The view from the bedroom was incredible. Every morning we opened the sliding glass door and watched the waves roll in. Tres Mujeres has a "community kitchen" that has everything you need to cook meals if you’re into that sort of thing. We chose to eat out, but definitely said when we return we would utilize that more. The beach in front of the hotel is great for walkin/running. Not overly crowded at all. Take a short walk left on the beach and you will be where everyone swims, boogie boards, and surfs. Troncones town is walking distance. There are small markets where you can buy wine, beer, food. There is one ATM in town, and it ran out of money. So heed my advice and bring enough pesos. It’s fun to rent a bike from Victor and ride down to Manzanillo Bay(lay on the beach, good swimming beach) and on down the road to Majahua(smaller village then Troncones) There are a few beach side restaurants here. I was reluctant to give this review because Troncones and Tres Mujeres are the kind of places you don’t want to see get too popular. We will be back.
